FIEC Staff:

Bruce Bennett - National Director

Bruce joined FIEC as a chaplain in April 2021 after serving as the Senior Pastor of Orange Evangelical Church for many years. In September 2025 Bruce was appointed as National Director of FIEC. Bruce is married to Robyn and they have four adult children and nine grandchildren. They continue to be members of OEC.

Roger Burgess - Head Chaplain

Roger Burgess came onboard as our Head Chaplain in February 2026. Together with his wife Carolyn, they are serving our churches by supporting the Senior Pastors and their wives. Previously, Roger was the Senior Pastor of Maitland Evangelical Church, where he and Carolyn are still members. They have four adult children.

Pete Bradbury - Operations Pastor

Pete is our Operations Pastor. Prior to joining us in August 2026, Pete was the Senior Pastor of Christ Community Church in Toowong, Qld. He brings more than a decade of corporate business experience as well as 15 years of ministry experience to the role. Pete is married to Carly and they have 4 children. He and Carly continue to be members of Christ Community Church.

Ruth Sheath - Women’s Network Coordinator

Ruth coordinates our work among women in the fellowship. Ruth also works as a chaplain at Moore College. Ruth has been a member of The Lakes Church at Tuggerah on the NSW Central Coast since it was planted 20 years ago. She is married to David and they have 3 adult children.

Tim Anderson - Events Coordinator

Tim is an engineer, project manager and experienced events coordinator, and joined our staff team in 2025. He is based in Canberra and is a member of Southside Bible Church. Tim is married to Vanya and they have four children.
