Wednesday is the last day of our Senior Pastors & Wives Forum. After our morning sessions, we will finish with lunch at NOSH restaurant at 12:30pm. Then you have the afternoon to make your way home. Check-out time for your room is 10am, so please do this before the first morning session at 9am. If you don’t have a car with you, you can leave bags at reception until the conclusion of the Forum.

On Monday night we enjoyed a rich night of fellowship at our Welcome Dinner at Hyde Paradiso. This set the scene for the busy days ahead.

Tuesday was a full day of teaching, meetings and fellowship. We were encouraged by the foundations laid out for us by our guest speakers Mark Baddeley and Tim Dyer. They will conclude their presentations on Wednesday.

Lunch on Wednesday will likely be finished by around 1:30pm so you can begin your journey home then.

Our keynote Bible Teacher will be Dr Mark Baddeley, one of the full-time faculty at the Queensland Theological College. Prior to joining QTC in 2012, Mark was at Oxford where he was working on his D.Phil. on Athansius’ Doctrine of the Atonement, having already done a masters degree in systematic theology (also at Oxford University). Prior to that, Mark had studied and then taught at Moore Theological College in Sydney. Mark lives on Brisbane’s bayside and is an Elder at Redlands Presbyterian Church. He is married to Jenny and has two boys who are in High School. Mark’s talk outlines are below:

Our equipping sessions will be led by Tim Dyer. Tim trained in psychology at Melbourne and Monash Universities before researching and publishing on youth homelessness as a staff worker with Scripture Union Victoria. Besides mentoring pastors and leaders himself, Tim trains Christian leaders in mentoring and pastoral leadership, and consults with churches and denominations on processes which create and support leader and community health. Tim is a visiting lecturer with SMBC in Sydney. He is a member of Sheffield Bible Church, an independent church in Tasmania.
